At Harbour House we are well known for our superb home-cooked Highland breakfast served between 07.45 and 09.15. If, however, you wish for something a little lighter, we also offer a great continental selection of cereals, fruits, yoghurts, cheese and cold meals.
Relax in our spacious residents lounge whilst enjoying the panoramic views over the salty waters of Loch Brooms to Ullapool Harbour. As our bed and breakfast is not licensed, please feel free to bring your own drinks. We will provide you with glasses and ice. There is free Wi-Fi in our lounge too.
Visiting the West Coast Highlands of Scotland can be a time of reflection. It's hard not to stop for a moment and contemplate. Our gardens have a terrace with outside seating for you to sit and do just that. Look out over the loch and listen to the waves lap against the pebbled beach below. There's always plenty to see from the garden. Watch the Stornoway ferry arrive and depart causing the sailing boats to bob up and down in its wake or admire the sun setting over the summer isles. If you're Beinn Ghoblack and the lucky you can see seals swim, otters paddle, a pod of dolphins surf the waves.
"My heart's in the Highlands, my heart is not here; My heart's in the Highlands a-chasing the deer; A-chasing the wild-deer, and following the roe, My heart's in the Highlands wherever I go."
Robert Burns
